Hello, My name is Valeria Aleksandrova. I am a third-years student in Linguistics University of Nizhny Novgorod, Russia. This year I have a great chance to undertake a linguistic internship in the domain of science. This is a window of opportunity to combine two things of my interest: foreign language and science. One of the best ways to enlarge your vocabulary is to study a certain field of knowledge that is why I decided to translate science and analytic articles to improve my language abilities. The world of scientific research is extremely rich and information contained in a scientific document must be perfectly transcribed, and meets the requirements specific to this discipline in terms of writing style and technical accuracy. It is rather difficult domain for translation, but still it remains one of the most interesting.
